Meet Sherilyn
What began as a simple childhood joy of experiencing nature, evolved over time to reveal the inspirational creativity and imagery of Sherilyn. Born into a family of gardeners, she developed her love of nature and flowers while spending many wonderful days with her father in the garden. He encouraged Sherilyn to see more than whatever she was looking at with her eyes thereby teaching her to become more observant, appreciative and deeply aware of what she saw.
Capturing the essence of nature, quickly became her passion. Following her father’s interest in painting, Sherilyn started putting her observations on canvas. Inspired constantly by nature’s relentless beauty, she longed to capture moments in time she observed so that she could paint them later. An even stronger passion for photography began and Sherilyn’s intuitive talent for capturing beauty and letting it speak to others through an artist’s eye and a naturalist’s heart was born.
Believing that art is the language of the soul, Sherilyn has created an intimate diary of her view of the richness, beauty and exquisite details of nature.
Sherilyn hopes that you feel her joy as you view the mysteries of light, shape and color in her work as she responds to nature through her art.
